and your students can demonstrate that connection!
This event provides a great opportunity for students to support their community while competing to win $1000 for their school or youth program - that is double the registration cost of a student team! Many area organizations from the PTA to Kiwanis have funds to sponsor student teams. Contact your school's PTA, one of Boise's many service organizations, or local businesses to ask about sponsorship or contact us to find your sponsor today!
Each team is given 1,000 KEVA Planks and 30 minutes to design and build a tower upon a 6” square base. Width, height and the strategic placement of an Idaho Potato are factored to determine final scores.
Local builders, architects, engineers, and technology professionals are competing in this unique event to see which group can build the highest, widest, and most stable block tower. We are excited to include Junior High and High School students in their own Building Challenge this year, where they can compete against other students for a prize of $1000!
