- “At our Head Start event the teachers turned out to really help and were amazed to see what they could do with the kids to see where they are with fine motor and colors. The teachers also enjoyed watching how the kids were reacting differently with their family members being present. One teacher commented on some Spanish children who are very quiet in the classroom acting very outgoing in the block setting.”

- “I attended Block Fest with my three-year-old son, Zander, last fall. As a licensed child care provider and a mother, I was thrilled to see and use a variety of new blocks with Zander. Zander absolutely LOVED the rectangular, wooden blocks that were all of the same size. He stacked and built with them through two rotations! I enjoy providing a plethora of manipulatives for the children in my care. I was on a mission to find those blocks at a reasonable price because we just had to have them! I found the blocks in the Constructive Playthings catalog, but they were rather pricey. And then, lo and behold, I was in Costco one day and found a giant box of 300 of the “CitiBlocks” for $14.99!!! Oh, happy day! My next mission is to find the transparent, colored blocks for my kiddos. All of the children in my care use the CitiBlocks on a regular basis to make wonderful creations. Blocks provide so many opportunities for children to build fine and gross motor skills, cognitive skills, communication skills, problem solving skills and social skills. Thank you for providing the Block Fest to families. It inspired me to seek out new blocks for all of the special kiddos in my care!”
